On June 5 of 2017, Lorde was scheduled to perform at Free Press Summer Fest in Houston but, the performance was "canceled the due to this apocalypse-style weather which means we can't play for you tonight", and apparently she had a surprise performance planned with Charli XCX and Tove Lo : "Crying shame because me Charli (XCX) and Tove (Lo) had cooked up a cover of 'Umbrella' by Rihanna for you." She also tweeted QUOTE: ""I know I'm sooo sorry there's literally nothing I can do about this, I was so looking forward to playing for you tonight truly."
