"Lost Boys" "Sway"

"Sway" is an unreleased song by WHY? featuring Lorde. It was leaked in September of 2017.

Background

In October, 2013, Lorde tweeted out: "i quoted @YoniWolf in still sane and completely forgot to ask him oops", to which he replied with "@lordemusic Let's rectify the situation with some touring/collaboration!!". Four years later, in 2017, a song titled "Sway" was leaked which featured vocals by Lorde. This is suspected to be an unreleased track or a track to be featured on the alleged "Melodrama (Deluxe)".

Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Desert, middle of winter
My feet, I know America
My cheek, for the window
My eyes eat up a handful

Getting in and then leaving
Just as it starts to happen
Sometimes, I feel the distance
But then I remember being kids and

[Chorus]
Swaying in the light of the disco ball
Shut my eyes, I'm still
Swaying in the light of the disco ball

[Verse 2]
Oh boy, I saw it melting
My friend shows me everything
We run around inside our high school
They're hooped that my stomach gets dunked over
And over, I think of my boys
They're in class staring up at all the continents

Right now I feel them missing
But then I remember then being held and

[Chorus]
Swaying in the light of the disco ball
Swaying in the light of the disco ball
Back there now, I'm
Swaying in the light of the disco ball
Shut my eyes, I'm still swaying in the light of the disco ball
Swaying in the light of the disco ball
Back there now, I'm
Swaying in the light of the disco ball

[Outro]
Thought I'd be forever in the light that way
Thought I would be swaying now (repeat)

Thought I'd be forever in the light that way
